(Click here to see more photos from this day )I got this idea from another blog and thought it would be so fun to do in our little town. My friend Wendy came over with her kids and we made "secret notes" to hide around Del Mar. We called ourselves the secret note fairies, and the boys, although only 2.5 years of age, noticed right away that they did not want to call themselves fairies and decided to be mailmen.
We let the kids use their creativity to find secret places to hide the notes so someone would find them and get a surprise pick me up from a stranger. It was a fun and beautiful day. 85 degrees in mid-October!
