Can I just say how much I LOVE that I really never have to go out of town for the holidays (sorry Chels, we did miss you guys this Thanksgiving, but not the traffic and travel! ;) ). We had such a nice, relaxing holiday. My Mom just went OFF this year. The food was scrumptious! And she would not let a single one of help... she made everything from soup to dessert. Jen did get to make a wonderful cheese tray for starters, which was equally amazing. Gabe liked the pumpkin soup so much (which in itself is a feat, getting him to eat soup!) he was saying "MMMMmmmmMMMMM" after every bite and just slirping away. It was a table full of made from scratch, homemade goodness. Thanks Mom for the meal, and letting us just relax and enjoy your amazing cooking. I am so greatful to have such wonderful family that live so close and to have a Mother that is willing to "do it all".
